Analyziz
A Perception Error : By Captain Daniel King, Bio Science Officer, Defence
Research and Development Canada, Atlantic
A
Perception Error can occur when the individual involved has detected elements
(object, threat or situation) of the environment inaccurately (detection
failure), whether the misperception is visual, auditory, olfactory,
proprioceptive (seat-of-the-pants) or vestibular in nature. However, a
Perception Error can still occur even if accurate detection takes place if the
individual fails to attend to the information (awareness failure). Even if
accurate detection and awareness of the elements are achieved, a Perceptual
Error can still occur if absence of, or inaccurate, understanding of their
significance takes place (understanding failure). Indeed, experience plays a
role at this level, in that the information about the environment is processed
by comparing it with what the individual already knows. (http://www.rcaf-arc.forces.gc.ca/dfs-dsv/pub/nr-sp/index-eng.asp?id=10285)
5.
Conclusion
In my opinion, Misjudgement occurs
when somebody do a fault in guessing or understanding the intention of other
person. Generally, that thing has become by untentionally.
